Our Facilities

We have 5 luxury, en-suite rooms, each with its own entrance opening onto the courtyard with a heated swimming pool. Every room has been furnished with solid dark wood furniture and include a queen size bed, ample build-in cupboards, a desk and chair as well as a comfortable easy chair. Each room has air conditioning, flat screen TV with full Satalite TV and Fibre cable Wi-fi.

The well-appointed bathrooms have a bath and separate shower, double basins are set on either side of the bath along with ample shelving for toiletries, etc.

An additional 2 Standard double rooms are well appointed with an en suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The room has a queen size bed and desk, cupboard and coffee station with bar fridge and microwave, flat screen TV, with International Satellite TV and Fibre cable Wi-fi.

The entire property is under 24-hour private security surveillance. It has CCTV cameras, electric fencing and is very well lit.

With power outages a reality in South Africa the possibility of a cold shower is very real – but not at Blackheath Manor!

Our hot water system is based on sophisticated gas-fired geysers which will continue to provide hot water even after prolonged power outages.

We also have a large generator that switches on during power outages.

Environmentally friendly

We strive to look after the environment and separate and recycle where possible. We are water conscious and use borehole water for the garden and pool.

Our fresh vegetable garden is used extensively by staff and guests. In season vegetables are eagerly used!
