Blackheath Manor Guest House is situated on the border between the suburbs of Northcliff and Blackheath, on the north western side of Johannesburg.

These tree lined suburbs offers the tranquillity and peace that belies the proximity to  amenities such as a large shopping centre (Cresta), various office parks and some of Johannesburg’s most important tourist attractions.

Recreational areas within a few minutes’ drive include the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens, the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens in Emmarentia, Melville Koppies Nature Reserve, Randpark and Windsor Golf Courses, Northcliff Country Club and the Northcliff and Berario Recreational Centres.

Blackheath Manor is also close to a number of major medical facilities, including the Johannesburg Eye Hospital, Visiomed Eye Laser Clinic, Wilgeheuwel Hospital, Flora and Mayo Clinic and Milpark Hospital.

The University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) and the University of Johannesburg (UJ), are also within easy reach.

Blackheath Manor is popular with visitors to the Coca Cola Dome, the National Exhibition Centre, NASREC and the Mosaiek Teatro in Fairlands.

A large number of Office Parks host a number of major businesses. Amongst these are the MTN Head Office, Clover Head Office, Wesbank and FNB Homeloans, Absa at 270 Republic Road, Flight Centre Head Office, Tracker, TNS Research Surveys, Abbott Laboratories, World Vision and the South African Blood Service.
